Good book lots of helpful information
Great book to read. Seeing through my child's eyes now and understand my child is incredible. Cried a couple of times in a good way. Communication on how your child talks will make life easier on both of you. It's teamwork.
lWhen you have a child with a disability take the time out and to analyze and get the help you need because If you don't you will be stress and tired. Once you find out everything will go smooth for you and the child.
A very informative read for someone with our without an autistic child. Many important topics are covered and aids in the understanding of the disorder. I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking to better understand autism!
This book was okay. It covered a lot of basics. I felt like it only dug into the surface in some areas, addressing a lot of the common knowledge topics. I really didn’t like the section about advocacy, because I am not a spokesperson for my daughter’s story. I will advocate on her behalf to doctors and teachers, but I have no desire to hand out flyers at a fair or create a community event. I don’t give up on books, so I muscled my way through this one, mainly because the author really wanted me to leave a review. Here you go.
